VISUAL ART AT THE FESTIVAL
As a starting point for all things art you should check out the Edinburgh Art Festival which brings together many of the city's galleries and provides a useful guide to the many exhibitions on offer during August. But the Art Festival doesn't encompass all the visual art in town, there's some in the International Festival and quite a few exhibitions in the Fringe.
